catsladder 0 Posted December 30, 2008 Share Posted December 30, 2008 Got a question on encryption on a PC/MAC client. What happened to all the encrypted entries if the client's hard disk crashed? Would I loose all my encrypted notes after I reinstall everything on a new hard disk? I ask this b/c I had some bad luck this year with multiple disk crashes. Link to comment
iNik 47 Posted December 30, 2008 Share Posted December 30, 2008 Provided you still have your notebooks backed up or online, you can recover your encrypted notes with the password you encrypted them under. It is not tied to a given computer. Link to comment
