(Archived) Mixing ink & text/images

I use (less and less often now:-) OneNote on a convertible Windows laptop (i.e. is has a rotateable display and converts to a tablet). One think I do a lot in OneNote is add ink notes to an existing note, often an imported PDF but also text notes produced previously by myself or somebody else. I like being able to put these ink annotations freely anywhere in the note. In EverNote the ink has to be separate. Is there any chance that this will be changed to be more OneNote-like in future?
