Qt is a cross platform UI framework.

With Qt, you can use one code, to generate client for Symbian, Meego, Linux and windows.

Besides, Qt provide strong support for XML and network.

Google earth and more works are implemented with Qt as can be seen here

Jolla will support Meego in future. And when Stephen Elop get out of Nokia, I believe Meego or Symbian or another Qt based OS will reborn.
