(Archived) Another feature suggestion: one key tagging

The autocomplete feature for the tagging is amazing. It would be awesome if you could also select a note, press a key and automatically tag a note that way (say 'w' for work). I first saw this nifty feature in Things (to do list manager) for the Mac. Would this be possible with the current framework?

I second this. the way I see that is to set preferences for letter tag shortcuts.

Then either in the app itself, or after clipping from another app (when the pop-up appears), one could type the letter(s) instead of full text of a tag...
