The windows version of Evernote has something feature:

I know strike through is possible on the Mac (if you go into Format->Show Fonts or command+T), but it'd be nice to have a quick way to strike through text on the keyboard. Thanks!

I'd really like this feature as well. A toolbar and keyboard shortcut is a must, I would use this all the time for task lists, marking up items while preserving previous text, etc.

Note: if you wonder why not use checkboxes, the answer is that those don't always fit my needs. Sometimes I really want a numbered task.

I always use this (CTRL+T) in windows when a task that had to be done but now isn't necessary anymore.

It's very annoying when the Mac desktop version doesn't have parity with the Windows version (and super ironic that this forum has Strikethrough and the Mac version doesn't).
