pchiha 0 Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 I have found a way to get business cards into Evernote, but it feels a bit awkward to me. This is what I do:1. scan several bus cards on my scanner: iPhone and macphotobooth don't have macro capability. You must be far enough, then the text is too small.2. Save image as a jpeg3. email image as attachment using my evernote email address4. synchronize, or refresh web browser.I tried to drag image into a new note. That does bring the image in, but character recognition won't work. There must be a better system. Anyone?
CapeGhost 0 Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 I'm simply scanning the business cards and afterwards I'm using the clip functionailty of evernote to create a screenshot of the created pdf and add it automatically to evernote. And text recognition is working fine then.
VictorE 2 Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 along the same lines as capeghost's suggestion, when you scan the biz cards, most of the time, you can set it to perform a preview scan, just use the clip function on the preview.
pchiha 0 Posted July 18, 2008 Author Posted July 18, 2008 I guess I don't know about the clip functionality. Where is that located? Thanks
