(Archived) Substring Queries

Evernote PLEASE LISTEN to me:

I need substring search.

You've said that it is not performant - OK I agree. I don't want it for the GLOBAL search. But for the LOCAL Search (STRG+F in an opened Note) there is NO REASON whatsoever why you won't allow me to query for BCD in ABCDEF.

We're talking about basic functionality of notepad.exe for heaven's sake!

Also: Please don't disregard special characters such as _ (underline) in local queries (STRG+F).

Please comment.
