Please bring back the old appearance...e.g. as an option. I can imagine that you would make many users happy with it because for many the old design was also a unique selling point of evernote and has increased the clarity through the different colors (black / gray / white with green accents).

I agree!!! The old design was so much calmer and easier to read. It also just looked better and was so much easier on the eyes with the limited colour scheme. I want the old design back so much, I'm really thinking of switching platforms if it doesn't change or if there isn't at least an option
