Default Notebooks

I have a notebook that is my default notebook. When I try to change it, I can't seem to find a way to not have a default notebook. Help please?

You have to have a default notebook. I suppose you could avoid using it by always creating new notes when in a notebook (not all Notes) etc etc but it's EN's safety net to ensure all notes are in a notebook.
