I know what general logic of storing actionable items Evernote uses more or less (not very intuitive IMO), but I think this makes sense to add a new level of details within tasks, because many users utilize the notes as a generic reservoir and tasks stored within notes might need very specific details any time. This comes up a lot specially when using certain templates such as the to dos templates for example.
I do not think that adding such a field within tasks would disrupt the way Evernote logic works at all, but enhance it. Jira does this quite fine.
