Menubar option "Quick Note" and Spaces macOS

Dear Evernote-Expert,

I would like to use the Menubar-Icon to create a Quick Note. But always, when I click on the icon to write a quicknote my screen is switching to the space where i use the evernote app. That's very impractical for me. I just want to use the Quickmessage or the screenshot option at the space I'm just now working. Is there a possibility to prohibit the switch to the evernote app?

I hope my issue is comprehensible for you and you have a cool solution for me.

+1 on this please, in a previous version of Evernote/macOS the Quick Note overlay would appear on your current Space which made it really convenient. Since upgrading, it now jumps to a different Space which obliterates my most common use case (quickly jot something down while staying focused on what I'm working on)
