Calendar View on Home Screen

The calendar view on the home screen has two options - timeline and list. I often review meetings at the end of the day and both views show nothing on the calendar widget. The timeline would make sense to not show anything given the current time and open slots. But the list view should show the list of meetings in the widget so you can easily navigate to the meeting and read, add, or edit notes. You cannot scroll up (MAC and Ios), and therefore after to view all or open up the page. I would like to see the list of the events for the day in the widget to click into them directly.
