(Archived) Separate Forum for OSX

In order to track and address the beta cycle of a product, would it not be best to create a separate forum by client?

This is the first product I know of who does not have a separate forum for windows users and one for mac users.

(and another for universal functionality)

Why?

So OSX users, especially they are ALL new to the product, can share and exchange information spefici to their experience, instead of haing to scroll and wade through hundreds of windows posts.

(and no, doing a search in all forums for "mac" or "osx" or "os x" returns no hits. none at all..."No suitable matches were found.")

I would suspect that EN moderators and developers who are focused on the mac implementation of their tool would want to quickly review posts by mac users.

Thanks for the suggestion. We do plan to split the forum by platform when we move to open beta.
