Checklist: Ability to remove strikethrough formatting on part of the line

I often add a note at the end of a checklist item to describe how we completed it.  When the whole line is in strikethrough font it is hard to separate the item from the note.  I currently have to add the note below the checklist item on a new line.  This request would allow the 'remove formatting button' to work on highlighted portions of the checklist item and return just that part of the line to the normal font.
