Evernote has been my productivity partner for a while. I really enjoy and make a good use of the provided tools.

One of the most valuable traits I valued about Evernote was that I could open its PC app and almost instantly make use of it. Usually during online meetings to take notes, for which a quick availability is paramount. Unfortunately, since my last major update a few months ago, opening Evernote for quick use has turned into a nightmare, with "connecting popups" that forces me to keep waiting for minutes while they do something that, apparently, makes no difference at all for me.

 I kindly suggest that the Evernote Dev team fix this pointless annoyance that basically ruin the user experience when he most needs the app.
