Editor issues - repeating key by holding down creates buggy behaviour

Hello,

the editor has some buggy behaviours.

1. going to a line and keeping backspace pressed for a while, will result in text AFTER the cursor to be deleted

2. pressing enter repeatedly at the beginning of a line, will introduce a linebreak somewhere else, e.g. after the first word (see screenshot: I put my cursor at the beginning of the line, and just pressed enter many times)
