Can't update Evernote preview

When I want to install the newest version of Evernote Preview (by using the check for updates function) it stops almost direct.

Looking at the log it looks like that this is the issue:

[2021-02-25 21:37:59.578] [info] Proxy server for native Squirrel.Mac is closed (was started to download https://cdn1.evernote.com/boron/mac/builds/Evernote-9.5.0-1726.zip)

Does anyone know how to solve it? Thanks!
