Using a variety of typical delimiters (comma, tab, |, return) I have set up tables with the correct number of rows and columns, and then pasted a block of that delimited text into the first cell, but that doesn't work - it just fills the first cell with all the text, leaving the rest of the table empty. I've also tried selecting those text blocks, and applying the table selection to them - that just overwrites the text with an empty single-cell table.
I've searched through the Evernote forums, online help, internet in general. Am I missing something obvious (or not so obvious)? If not, I think this would be an extremely useful thing to be able to do.
