Missing real italics replaced with oblique slanted fonts

It seems like real italic fonts are missing from all of the embedded fonts in the new version of Evernote. 

Instead, there is a slanted "oblique" version when you make a text italic.

Is this on purpose? Will there be a fix?

The bold fonts seem to be the real deal.

I really like the new look of the updated Evernote – but I'm although very disappointed by this ugly fake-italic-fonts. If you have only three different types to use it would be very important for me to get well looking types and not this slanted versions. Please fix that – thank you!!
