I like Evernote, but it's crazy the amount of hard disk space it requires. In the ~/Library/Application Support it takes over 9GB. I have only 184 notes, none of them very long. You do the math, this is badly written software. All of my publications, which probably total over 2,000 pages by now, maybe 3,000 with graphics as .pdf take 66 MB. I am thinking of switching to something reasonable for my notes. Not worth the hard disk space. I feel I was cheated by Evernote.
Sorry to be negative, but it feels the software is written by amateurs who have 2 TB of hard disk space.
