Kicked out of the app

I have used Evernote daily for several years in my android cell phone. Since the last update I'm getting kicked out all the time and need to log in every time I open an exciting note.

Evernote wants everyone to pay. I get that. But my understanding has been that I can use on log in option for free. Now it seems that android phone is not an applicable option. Really bad update by Evernote! 

I'm able to log in with my PC and edit notes. But I want to continue to use my android phone as my chosen option! (I have of course removed the Evernote note app and downloaded it from scratch. Doesn't help!)

Can someone please help me with this bug!?!
