Evernote takes so long to load on ios now that it’s nearly useless as a note taking app.

I just want to add that I encounter the exact same slow loading on an iPhone.

Does someone work on this matter ?

When can we expect an updated version or a fix ?

More specifically, when I open the app on my phone, 60% of the time I want to jot a quick note and the other 40% search for something, usually text. As apps like Evernote mature, they add more and more features to the point where the bloat takes a long time to load. The ability to add images and videos to notes on the desktop is great, but don't forget the main use of the app. Make a lightweight front end if you have to - I don't need the rich media on my phone, just a fast interface to make notes and search text. I'm about ready to switch to something simpler.
