How to Remove the "Lists Beta" from the web client?

Lists Beta shows on the left panel in my browser. Other than that, I'm on the regular web public client release. The Lists seem to just be Templates. I'd like to remove them, because there is not enough useful space on the left panel, and Lists is taking up space.
