Evernote not syncing on MacOS

My evernote works fine on my iPhone, and also syncs problem free on the online version, but my desktop version is not. Evertyhing I type here deletes itself when the program restarts (which has caused massive trouble, loosing important work notes). There is absolutely no support help to be found, and I must say I am so dissapointed in the support services you offer. I have been a Evernote user since 2011, and this is making me want to delete my account!

I have deleted the app and re-downloaded the app, I have tried to turn the computer on and off. All the so called "trouble shooting tips" have been tested. Nothing is working.

So here goes - help - anyone?!
