(Archived) Using Russian text recognition in English version

Hey all,

I use the English version of EN3 (so far, the categories downgrade from 2.2 hasn't bothered me... because I never used 2.2). I have a lot of notes, pictures, and clips in Russian but they seem to not be recognized in Russian. This is after I set the indexing to recognize Russian in the "options" menu. E.g., an image of the book cover for the novel "Орфография" gets hits for typing o-p (oh-pea) in English but not о-р (oh-er) in Russian.

Any ideas why this could be happening and how to fix it?

We have support for Russian only in digital ink notes, but not in images. Don't know about when the support for Russian will be added there, though.
