Font colour reset issue persists

Hello. I'm having a massive issue with font colours reseting when clicking on a different note. This issue only occurs with some lines, where any colour applied reverts back to original white when quitting Evernote or choosing a different note from the sidebar. 

I've read people report the same problem from 2018 and the it seems to remain to this date. This is very frustrating. It seems that the problem arises from the dark mode itself.

I have this same issue in the Dark mode for macbook. doesnt happen in the normal mode. very frustrating
