Condensing list of notes

I have a Galaxy S8 that I was using Note Everything on, but don't like it's backup option to save notes, otherwise works great. I like the options with Evernote, but displaying my notes is an issue. If I try to view all the notes to pick one, the display (sorted by Title) is spread way out and only shows a couple notes on screen. It separates by each letter/symbol starting the note and leaves extra line spaces between each Title.  Can I condense the list of notes to single lines instead of showing sort by alphabet indicators and spaces left by data hidden?
