Old email address appearing when someone tries to share a note with me, share not working

Hi, 

 

I changed my email address within settings a few years ago, had no problems.

But when someone tries to share a note back with me recently, on their device it says user is  @old email address. 

And likewise i can see their note, but cannot access it - error 'you no longer have access to this note'.

 

...Even though it was only just shared with me.

 

Any ideas?
