(Archived) A way to kill all formatting

This is a bit of a feature request really, I would love to see a way to just kill all the formatting in a note. A right click option "Paste as plain text" etc. and or a way to just totally turn of any sort of formatting in a note/notebook. Evernote has become better over the years but its becoming more complicated and more than once gets confused with what should and shouldn't be underlined or made bold. I guess I don't want microsoft word half the time, just notepad

I use Shift-CMD-V when pasting which seems to do the trick.

I second this. The core functionality of text notes is being overrun with bloat. And text formatting is annoyingly and inconsistently changed by Evernote and often cannot be changed back (e.g. extra line breaks).

I third this! It may be nitpicky but I want all of my notes to be plain text format. It helps to read them on iPod touches.
