Lost and vanished notes

I record my meeting notes with clients. The last 2 times I was recording, I logged into another website for a demo and when Iwas done with the meeting I went back to Evernote to stop the recording and add additional notes..nothing was there. No recording, notes etc. just the date for the new note. I have never had this issue before. Help! Can I recover those notes? What happened?

Ive had something similar happen with an existing note. App closed and when i reopened it all the text (and there was quite a bit) was gone and it was just a blank page. Would really like to know if this can be undone.
