Evernote can't connect to server

Hi 

I have just installed Evernote for Windows PC. 

When entering login + pwd to start the program, it says: "can't connect to server. please try again later"

I have tried many times and it doesn't work

The firewall has been deactiveted, so it shouldn't be the problem.

This is the error code in the activity log:

13:27:40 [ERROR  ] [4300] [6132] 0% EDAMSystemException: errorCode=INTERNAL_ERROR message="StaleStateException"

 

Any ideas about what might be wrong?
