cannot edit old notes or write when i create new notes

lately, I've been having issues with Evernote on my desktop running win 10. I am not sure when this issue started since I Haven't used the app for a while. Don't remember if it happens after I upgraded to win 10 or if its an issue with my fonts or something.. when I create a new note or try to edit an already created note it changed to "-apple-system" in the font drop down and when I click the Área to select or edit the text it just click on it and does not let me select the text
