Ink note grid background

I use ink notes on my Microsoft Surface Book when I need to draw a quick diagram. A grid would be more useful to me than the horizontally ruled yellow background. I'm not a fan of the yellow background color, so I would also like to select a different color scheme for my ink notes.

My understanding is this used to be option.  I was told to use Penultimate, I use Windows and Android this doesn't help.  Bring back grid paper and other options like changing rule spacing, or dot matrix
