Return key not working

When typing in a note on Evernote Version 7.1 (456448 Direct) Editor: 43.0.4829 (edb6eb7), pressing return does not function as it should. A new line is created, but the text cursor does not move to it, instead staying on the same line. I am using Mac OS X 10.13.4 on a 13" Retina Macbook Pro 2015
