App logout and opening

I just updated to high sierra, and am having 2 issues now with the evernote app on desktop.

1)When I quit the app it then requires me to log on. Before, I would just stay logged on.

2)When I quit the app, I click the icon to open it again. It 'opens', but I can't interact with anything- among other things, all of the menu options are greyed out, and I can't create a note. If I quit it again, and open it again, it works. It always has this 2-time thing going on.

Any help would be wonderful.

Restarting my computer fixed both. Woohoo!
