iOS Skitch - camera doesn't work

Hi,

I teach Skitch to a K-12 school in Abu Dhabi. Out of 20 students, about 3-4 cannot take pictures with their iPads. The screen is completely blank. The other students and I are perfectly fine. Any ideas?
