I am so confused by the tags feature. I am currently a OneNote user who is trying to rid myself of Microsoft's ridiculousness. I was very excited to find Evernote as an alternative until I found you can not create several folder layers and share it to collaborate. EverNote uses a tag hierarchy that confuses me to no end.
Can anyone help me understand what EverNote is thinking or how it works? It seems like they overthought this idea believing it was user-friendly and easy to use. I have no clue how to get it to work right. I have done very few projects in my life that can work with only one subfolder level. Hopefully, it's just me, but I have read countless threads and searched for hours on how to make this work for me. Please help! I really want to make this product work. It has fantastic features, but the inability to nest subfolders is a dealbreaker. Any other note taking program does not abandon this feature. Why did Evernote?
