Copying another user's note author change option

When I copy another user's note shared with me because it was set up as a template, I want either the author to change to me or to allow the last edited by person to show up in the title bar of the list of notes.  Looks like this field is available on the i (information) pull-down, but is not populated.  I'm using the free version of Evernote on Win 10.
