Surely the export feature should have the option of plain text. Especially if your note itself is plaintext, but why not for all cases. And since most stuff on Mac is rtf, and probably the Evernote widget is the standard Cocoa RTF widget, it ought to be easy (and incredibly useful) to give the RTF and/or RTFD formats.
Oh, and why is the default file name "My Notes" and not your document title?
