Shared Notebooks not syncing

Two notebooks have been shared with me for several years now, but for the past few months the notes will occasionally completely disappear. Right now I can view a total of 6 random notes. I use Evernote Web, I have a Basic account, and I have a Mac. I also use Safari. As I was typing this I had the idea to try Chrome which actually worked, but I have a small bug of some sort on my Chrome app and prefer to use Safari. Any ideas on what might be the problem?

The other problem I have is that the search function does not work at all on either Safari or Chrome. I don't get any results for things that I am positive exist and I have typed correctly.

I'm having this problem right now, what was the resolution?
