I received the email indicating that the Personal tier is increasing to $129.99 per year, essentially doubling the price.

Evernote has been a valuable tool for me over the years. This price change however, after so many UI changes in the past couple of years that have severely impacted my workflow, is just not a good thing.

I can only hope this is reconsidered.

I am struggling with this on Mac because it is constantly asking to install a Helper Tool. I do it, but we are trying to reduce the instances that users in our environment need to have admin access and this is not helping. I'd definitely prefer being notified when there is a critical security update with option to install.
