I just upgraded -- or should I say "downgraded" -- to the next version and am experiencing the same ridiculous problem. How in the WORLD did this pass beta testing? Ironically, my subscription just expired and Evernote has pop-ups begging me to continue shelling out for an app that has just proven it's not worth paying for if this is the kind of garbage that is being approved.

Long-time customer, now basic user.

I cancelled my Evernote account partly due to this issue. Impossible to believe that an app whose sole purpose is to organize notes would drop the ball on such an obviously basic feature.
