    Gotta disagree. That's just bad UI.

    And also, "real expert" options like CTRL+N aren't on the table if you've only got one arm. That's covered in the section on Accessibility in UI 101.

  2. The NEW button should ADD a new note. In standard UI (that's short for User Interface) practices, "+" means ADD and a down arrow/chevron means DROPDOWN for more options. The Evernote + and chevron do the exact same thing. So I have no idea why you have both symbols. Clicking the green bar should go directly to adding a new note. If I want to choose between creating a Note or Task, then I should click the "Options" chevron. This is UI 101.
