Since Evernote staff still seems to not be aware of the problem   (I opened one ticket and pointed here, so they should):
WORKAROUND/FIX (source):
The problem seems to get fixed if I delete Evernote's AppData folder (thus losing all notes not on Evernote Web)

You have to type your search string "any: tag:january tag:february" into the search box.
Oh cool. I thought the text search had been dumbed down. In my case I had a parent tag on which by clicking would fill middle column search with all subtags AND'ed.
However, using your tip I can search by tag:PARENT_TAG and it works the same as OR'ing all subtags!
Thanks!

Presumably it will come back - meantime... https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote
Nah, I'll keep on 10. No sense on banging the head on 5.x when the missing features are non-critical and I can poke here for suggestions of 'new' features. Thanks for the tip though.

Hi. Have you tried the ANY: operator? https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313828-How-to-use-Evernote-s-advanced-search-syntax
Doesn't seem to exist on Evernote 10.

When I search by Tag, the search is made in "AND" mode.
For example, unless a note is tagged with "january" and "february", it won't show up in the search.
I'd like a way to search for all events tagged with "january" OR "february". Ideally without having to type the tag name.
Thanks!

I have the same problem. Severly affecting me right now as it affects my two most commonly used notebooks for projects. Please fix asap.
Same, with 10.5.7 build 2171. I opened a ticket with the logs and afterwards I reverted to Evernote 10.4.4 build 2096 . Don't close the app or it will auto-update!!!
To the devs: Bug also happens with 10.5.6 build 2168.EDIT2: the problem seems to get fixed if I delete Evernote's AppData folder (thus losing all notes not on Evernote Web)
Error loading page in Windows Desktop App
in Evernote for Windows Issues (Versions 10.0 and above)
