You are comparing mobile-native app with desktop-native apps. In mobile-native apps like Evernote, the less hassle there is the better. Often you want to jot things down on your phone but don't have the time to enter the title. The autofill is useful in a way that it doesn't populate bunch of "untitled" to clutter your notebook. The solution is make auto-fill optional to keep everyone happy.

Went ahead to the support team. Got run-in-circles and ended up with nothing. All they ever do is telling you to provide activity log -> oh we got updated could you update to latest version -> provide log again -> oh sorry we are aware of it and trying to fix it.

I second this request to fix a functionality that used to work fine. By the way, this isn't the first time an EN update breaks the ability to annotate PDF in place. I recalled some time around the Mojave update this particular functionality was down for like months.

Just want to make sure the EN dev team is aware that PDF summary is gone from the latest desktop app and someone out there actually cares for it. When will the functionality be back?

This is the feature that I keep using Evernote for. For long documents this just neatly reminds me of what I had highlighted real quick. And you can always disable the summary page if you wish.
