Thanks for letting me know that there is no one here to fix things. I will let support know.
Also thanks for the Phrase Express suggestion. 

I use the insert date command-shift-D shortcut every day on Evernote on Mac, but in version 10.71.2 it does not work anymore, whilst inserting the time, ommand-option-shift-D still does work.

The bug was fixed in a later version. I run 10.73.3 and I can indeed use the shortcut again.

It seems to be a challenge for the developers.... The bug re-appeared in 10.74.1  :-(
