I'll continue to use EN Legacy until such time it might not be supported. Given the noted underlying changes to the latest version it appears a diminished user experience will remain. Another company has a real opportunity to enter the market and improve upon where EN left this with the Legacy version.

For those running both versions- Legacy and the latest- a note of caution. I closed v10 and installed the Legacy version. Unbeknownst to me, v10 was still running (as a process) as I opened the Legacy version. After a couple of hours my Win10 system slowed to a crawl and, upon checking Task Manager, was shocked to see the closed version of Evernote (v10) consuming over 32GB (I have a 64GB system) of RAM and my system was pegged at 99% Memory usage.
I then attempted to close the offending Evernote process and my system crashed.
I've rebooted and things seem to be ok. I've ensured v10 isn't loading at startup and will continue to monitor as I run EN Legacy.

It's really sad. I started my migration plan. And I believe, I'm not alone on this.
What is it? There will be many- including me- who will follow suit if basic core features aren't restored.

This is utterly ridiculous. I've resorted to using the Web version until this gets corrected with an option to disable.

Yep, same here. Legacy until such time they might choose to completely abandon (as in it doesn't sync) then I will move on as well. This assumes, of course, the current product doesn't improve so its performance is at least equal to Legacy.
