Well, I've tried downloading the file, renaming and doing a Save As, and I got no response from the app on my Mac or on the website version. Truthfully, I think they were PNGs. I think at this point, I need to try and reproduce the issue again. Then I'll update this post. 

Good point. I'm using both, a MacBook Pro, an iMac, both running Sonoma 14.1.2. I also have an iPhone 12 Pro running IOS 17.1.2 and all three have the same issue. The photos are small screenshots. Never had a problem in the past, as in two or three months ago. It started happening after Evernote made one of their updates, sorry I don't know which, I've just been living with it, should have said something earlier.

I never had this problem a few months ago. I paste a photo into a note, and it doesn't display. If I click on the placeholder it displays, it wants me to download it. 

All fixed, looks good too.

Hmm, you're right about that. Looks like my desktop computer is on v7.xxx but when I check for updates, it says I'm up to date on that computer. My laptop is showing:

How do I get my desktop up to speed when It says I have the latest version. Both computers are running the same Mac OS 13.0.1

On my desktop and laptop, I can see the tags I have assigned to the note, but not all of them when the window is not open. Could you make a toggle switch that would allow it to show all the tags that are in it? This way I can see everything and can figure out what new tags to add to it. 

I take notes when I'm walking, running, even driving my car. What I'd like to see is:

1. Can Evernote recognize when I'm moving and give me the option of a different UI?
   1. When I start a new note, while I'm in motion, I would like to have two large buttons, one for Dictation, and one for Record; I don't want to have to look for them
2. Use voice commands to create a new note, add title and content
3. Choice of dictation, or recording. 

I tried making a note today and it was very cumbersome and I had to record instead of dictate.

Can we get a character count when i highlight a block of text?

I keep a lot of notes on workflow. As such, I'm grabbing screenshots, videos, and photos that are saved on my computer. While I know I can drag and drop, or copy and paste, it would be nice to have a keyboard command to invoke the attachment so I could grab the file through a dialog box. 

I just wish it would turn up results for specific phrases I put in first. If I search for "black cat at night" I'm not looking for results that include just black, cat, or night.

I vote for this feature! If they don't or can't partner with Grammarly, how about partnering with Hemmingway?
