[Windows Desktop Client]When opening a note in a new window, Evernote occasionally chooses a location outside the visible area of the displays.This seems to happen whenI have an external monitor attached;and I recently maximised a note window or used WIN + arrow keys to dock a note window to one side of a display;and perhaps after I shut down Evernote or Windows or allowed Windows or the monitor to sleep while note windows were in that state.Workaround: I can make the window visible by using ALT + TAB to focus on it, then ALT + SPACE, M, arrow to move it into the visible display.
I'm in the Beta program, but I encountered this with earlier production versions too.

(Windows desktop client)After opening a note in a new window, the keyboard focus should be in the text pane ready for navigation and editing.I can't even use TAB to set focus in the text pane. Windows applications should work properly with no mouse.

Every culture has its own conventions, and forcing the US format on everyone is a serious annoyance (except, perhaps, for some Americans...).

Since 10.6.9, editor keystrokes don't work. Not merely 'Insert Date' and 'Insert Time', but even 'Bold' and 'Strikethrough'. Am I missing something?

Grrr... Since I upgraded to 10.6.9 none of the editing keystrokes work! Not only date and time, but even bold and strikethrough have gone. What's the story, Evernote?

Aha! After staring at the help page for a while, and extrapolating from the Mac guidance, I found the shortcut that inserts the time of day in the Windows editor: Ctrl-Shift-D
It's an annoyance that Ctrl-; doesn't work any more, but on the other hand I can now insert time without date. I'll live with it for now.
Meanwhile, Evernote: please add this missing information to the knowledgebase!

I found the reason why I couldn't participate in the beta. I'm using the web browser that came with the computer, instead of installing a third-party product.
I understand Microsoft Edge is going through a brain transplant, and I hope it will join the list of supported browsers in future.
I normally use the Windows and Android clients anyway, and would prefer to test those instead anyway.
