I had removed, refreshed, played with and nothing worked. But now I've duplicated the note as y suggested and the dog is finally gone. Thanks for the idea.... The dog just doesn't cut it as an enchilada recipe. This recipe was clipped from the web. Thx,for the work around. 

It's driving me crazy. I change the picture and the thumbnail stays the same... and that picture is not even in the note any longer.
